50 YEARS EARTH DAY

Of the April 22 is Earth Day! This year the motto is Earth Day Climate Action and we would like to make a contribution with our new Climate change edition for the 50th anniversary! We all have a responsibility to the beautiful planet we live on, made by the Global warming strong endangered is. We have to do something about that. This year Earth Day takes place completely on-line with numerous digital events instead of. ThatEarth Day Network has a map which brings together all planned online campaigns worldwide.

What is Earth Day

Last year we at HALM supported the Earth Day Network with our edition on the 2019 motto "Save the species" - thanks to all of them donate we were able to contribute a considerable amount. We want to achieve this in 2020 with our edition on climate protection! Because the Earth Day Network took on a mission worldwide environmental movement to establish and people to mobilize , to form and to activate . To this end, the Earth Day Network has been working internationally since the first Earth Day in 1970 190 countries with more than 75,000 partners together.

On April 22nd each year the birth hour celebrated this movement: this year it is 50 years Earth Day! Every year this day has a different motto to get up important topics and big problem to make our earth aware.

The pandemic and our environment

All the numbers about climate change are very frightening and it is often assumed that the part we humans contribute to it is not that great. But how is the environment now that so much industry, travel and "normal" life have come to a standstill because of COVID-19

The importance of Earth Day
